Bus Fares for 2027 and 2028
The bus fares listed below are the Not to Exceed (NTE) Price for each distance cap.
Actual bus fares will be based on other commercial considerations such as the distance, route, number of students on buses and the size of school bus etc.
1) Bus fares (by distance) for daily school bus services

Remarks: The School Bus Operator is not obliged to provide transport services for journeys where the distance exceeds 6 km.
2) Bus fares (by distance) for after-school activities bus services

Remarks: The School Bus Operator is not required to provide transport services for journeys exceeding 6 km or for after-school activities that end after 4 p.m.
3) Fuel Surcharge
As part of the School Bus Contract, the appointed School Bus Operator may impose a fuel surcharge on the Not To Exceed (NTE) Price, subject to the Fuel Surcharge Cap. The Fuel Surcharge Cap is the maximum fuel surcharge the School Bus Operator may impose in the event a fuel surcharge is applicable.

Note: The annual bus fares will be payable over 9 months in a school academic year. The collection months are January, February, March, April, May, July, August, September, and October. There will be no collections for the months of June, November, and December.
